A very high-strength night treatment built on 0.2% retinal (retinaldehyde), a form of vitamin A that needs only a single conversion to become retinoic acid, making it more direct than retinol. It firms and smooths the skin, softens the look of lines and wrinkles, fades the appearance of dark spots and brings added luminosity. Synthetic oat analogues help ease the dryness and discomfort retinoids can bring. The creamy, serum-textured emulsion is bright yellow from the retinal itself and comes in an airless pump. Best reserved for experienced retinoid users.
