Étui Noir, named after a small leather case, is an amber and spiced leather Eau de Parfum by Miller Harris, composed by Mathieu Nardin. Rather than smoky or harsh, the leather here feels soft as suede: Moroccan iris butter smooths it, incense and styrax warm it and vetiver lends an earthy edge. Bergamot, tangerine and elemi brighten the opening; patchouli, amber, birch and labdanum linger beneath. Inspired by a shared leather jacket, for those who like leather worn close. 100ml.
