Velvet Tonka is an amber-gourmand Eau de Parfum by Alexandra Carlin for BDK Parfums, centred on Brazilian tonka bean. Almond and orange blossom bring a luminous opening, while rose and Balkan tobacco absolutes sit at the heart. Tonka and Madagascan vanilla absolutes, amyris wood and amber woods form a honeyed, powdery base with a light sugared touch. The trail is soft, velvety and translucent, for a woman drawn to warm, almond-sweet scents.
